Terms of Use

Welcome to the word synthesis game application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") developed by Sun Sheng (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or the "Provider"). These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") constitute a legally binding contract between you (hereinafter referred to as "you" or the "User") and the Provider. Please read these Terms in their entirety carefully before accessing or using the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms of this Agreement.

Service Description

The App is a vocabulary learning tool designed to help users expand their vocabulary through two core features: word synthesis and word review. Users can input two to four words in the App to synthesize new words through our services and conduct targeted word reviews based on their personal learning records. The App requires user registration and login, supports cloud storage of learning data via our servers, and utilizes third-party Large Language Model (LLM) APIs to implement its core functions. All service operations comply with applicable privacy laws and the App's "Privacy Policy."

User Code of Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to engage in the following activities:

• Violating any applicable domestic or international laws, regulations, or public order and good morals;
• Inputting, generating, or disseminating any illegal, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or copyright-infringing content through the App;
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, hack, or otherwise damage the App's technical systems, servers, or data storage;
• Using the App for any unauthorized commercial purposes, including but not limited to reselling the App's services or using generated content for commercial profit without written permission;
• Performing any actions that may compromise the App's security, interfere with other users' normal usage, or harm the legitimate rights and interests of the Provider.

If you violate the above terms, we reserve the right, without prior notice and without assuming any liability, to restrict your access to the App, suspend or terminate your account, and delete relevant data.

Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the App, including but not limited to designs, text content, functional logic, algorithms, interface interaction designs, brand identifiers, and all original content generated by the App's system, are exclusively owned by the Provider.

Without the prior written permission of the Provider, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, or publish any part of the App or its original content, nor use it for commercial purposes. The content of the App is permitted to be used solely for non-commercial personal use in accordance with this Agreement.

Privacy Protection

We value the protection of your privacy. The App will collect and process your personal information, including account information, device data for analytics, and learning-related business data, strictly in accordance with the "Privacy Policy."

All data transmissions (including third-party LLM API calls and cloud storage synchronization) are protected via industry-standard encrypted connections. We do not collect unnecessary personal information, and without your explicit consent, we will not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

Service Suspension and Changes

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, modify, or update any services or features of the App at any time for reasons such as server maintenance, technical upgrades, compliance requirements, or operational needs.

For major changes or temporary service suspensions, we will provide reasonable notice within the App where feasible. We assume no responsibility for any inconvenience or loss caused by service adjustments made in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Inaccuracies or errors in word synthesis results, word review content, or outputs from third-party LLM API services;
• Service interruptions, delays, or failures caused by third-party LLM API malfunctions, network issues, server maintenance, or force majeure events (such as natural disasters or government actions);
• Functional failures or usage obstacles caused by limitations of your device hardware, incompatible system versions, or incorrect device settings;
• Loss of data or learning records resulting from your failure to follow the App's usage guidelines, negligence in account security, or unauthorized actions by third parties.

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

The formation, validity, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of your country or region of residence.

Any disputes or controversies arising from this Agreement or the use of the App shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the matter may be submitted to the competent people's court or arbitration institution in your place of residence for resolution.

Updates to the Agreement

We may revise and update these Terms at any time in response to applicable legal requirements or adjustments to the App's features, services, or operations. Any material changes to the Agreement will be posted via in-app notifications.

Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Agreement constitutes your unconditional acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the revised Agreement, you should immediately stop using the App.
